The Inn sports two Platform Tennis courts (known to aficionados as "paddle") -- at your disposal for day - or night - play. Bring your paddle, or borrow one from the Innkeeper! Paddle is a regular feature at the Inn, which hosts the Shore Line Classic, attracting nationally-ranked players.

Twenty-five years ago we built two paddle tennis courts and formed the Shelter Harbor Inn Paddle Club. Memberships were made available to all our friends who enjoy paddle, and others who wanted a winter activitiy after their tennis season ended. Two years agor we tore down the old courts and replaced them with two all-aluminum courts with new lights and heaters underneath to eliminate the ice and snow. New paddles and balls can be purchased at the Inn. Paddles can also be borrowed at the front desk.
