The
Shelter Harbor Inn was originally a farmhouse
built in the early 1800's. It has been transformed into
a comfortable, unpretentious country inn where the emphasis
is on relaxation, good food and a warm, friendly atmosphere.
Several dining rooms are located in the old farmhouse along
with ten of our 24 guest bedrooms. Other rooms are in the
carriage house and barn.
The
Inn is located near one of the most beautiful sections of
the Rhode Island Shoreline-an area dotted with salt ponds
and secluded barrier beaches. Our private beach in Weekapaug
stretches for two miles along the shores of Quonochontaug
Pond and the ocean.
The
Shelter Harbor Inn is the perfect place to spend a night...or
a week...while you relax and enjoy the natural beauty and
the countless attractions along our special part of the
coast. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served 365 days a
year for the pleasure of our guests, travelers and neighborhood
